In December 2023, ZGSM’s customer successfully completed the installation of split solar street lights. The project uses flexible columnar solar modules, high-performance lithium batteries and high-efficiency Nova series street lights. This solution is easy to install, and the flexible columnar solar modules not only ensure solar energy conversion efficiency, but also give the entire project an aesthetic appeal.

The Problem

In July 2023, we received a demand for solar street lights from Shanghai customers. Requirements are as follows:
Novel appearance
Illumination brightness＞10lux and uniformity＞0.2
No changes to existing light poles
Cheap and easy to maintain

The Solutions

Based on customer requirements, ZGSM recommends customers adopt the following designs:

1. 100W NOVA LED street light. Because this product has a novel shape, simple structure, and no complicated functions, it is cheap to fake.

2. 200W columnar flexible solar panel. Party A requires that the existing light poles cannot be changed. Wrapping the light poles with flexible solar panels is the best solution.

We chose ZGSM’s unique T2M53007 (TYPE II-M02) lens, which meets the customer’s requirements for overall illumination and uniformity. And the service life of the lamp head is 100,000 hours, the flexible solar panel we chose has a lifespan of more than 20 years, and the lithium battery has a lifespan of more than 5 years, but we installed it inside the light pole, making it easy to maintain.
